Rickard held a small conference in Tokyo for the swedish consulting group IT-huset on the 20th to 24th October 2007. 14 participants received the first presentation of Qi4j outside the core team, and learned first hand of a new way of thinking. It became apparent that the paradigm shift that Qi4j brings is not trivial to overcome the first time.

More importantly, very valuable feedback was received that has led to immediate changes to the nomenclature of Qi4j. We are currently rushing to complete these changes before the Oredev official launch.
