Qi4j storming forward

Qi4j sees a lot of development on many fronts. A new runtime, swing bindings, web framework and logging are all seeing a lot of active development.
The rewrite of the Qi4j runtime internals (into 4th generation) is coming to a close. Most of the functionality of the 0.2 version is completed, and a target is to have most things in 0.3 nailed down and ready for a release in early August.

Swing bindings is a new library started, which intends to use type-safe ways to bind swing components to properties, associations and composites. The goal for the Swing binding library is to cover most standard swing components and custom cases by the 0.4 release later this year.

Quikit is an ambitious web application framework. The direction and scope is not yet set, so if you feel you have something to contribute, join the discussion on the qi4j-dev@lists.ops4j.org mailing list. There is no timeline set for this effort.

The logging library is taking a new and fresh approach to the age old concept. Simpler to use (if possible), more flexible and more customizable. Logging Library aims to be ready in the 0.4 release later this year.
